Welcome to the new layout! And with the new layout comes new types of posts - Graphic Diction will be about the language of design and development. So not only will you receive your usual blend of book reviews, but now they will be mixed in with general postings as well. I did this for several reasons, but mainly because there were many more things I wanted to share with my audience.

A co-worker brought to my attention this survey that I thought was brilliant: interface research.  Check out the results too, some are quite shocking. I am going to take an educated guess and say that this research shows how much user expectations have changed in recent years not to create usability arguments.
